I've been involved with genealogy for over 30 years.  I began as my mother's junior research assistant at the ripe old age of 10.  That was back in the day when you had to travel to find the information that you were looking for.  I have researched and written for many years and love to help other researchers be successful by teaching them skills to find the records that connect them with their ancestors.  

My education includes a Bachelors Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences.  

I specialize in US records research as I believe that understanding records in this country establishes a solid foundation for success in overseas research. My focus extends back to Colonial American records.
