Anni specializes in Colonial America history and research as well as the history of New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

Anni belongs to the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), Genealogical Speakers Guild (GSG), New York Genealogical and Biographical Society (NYG&B), National Genealogical Society (NGS), and National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR)
