Susie Wickman is a genealogist, author, and educator who focuses on using storytelling, historical context, and research to help others uncover and share their family histories.

She holds a BSBA from the University of North Dakota and an MA in Emergency and Disaster Management from American Military University. Her interest in genealogy began in 2002 after the loss of her parents, when she inherited a box of family photographs that led her to begin researching her own family history.

Since 2017, Susie has taught genealogy classes that explore practical ways to map family movements, write family stories, and visually connect generations. Through her teaching and writing, she encourages others to preserve family stories before they are lost.

She is also the author of Financial Literacy: A Friendly, Judgment-Free Guide to Taking Control of Your Money and several children's books.
