I am a professional genealogist who specializes in forensic, Jewish, black and newspaper research. I have presented talks on genealogy and family history to diverse audiences, including actors, at local, regional, state, and national events. I am the editor for ZichronNote, the journal of the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish Genealogical Society (SFBAJGS). I am also the publicity and programs director and a board member for SFBAJGS. I am the president of the Jewish Genealogical Society of Oregon and a board member of the Genealogical Forum of Oregon, in addition to being the coordinator of the GFO Africam American Special Interest Group. I am a member of Association of Professional Genealogists, Council for the Advancement of Forensic Genealogy, Jewish Genealogical Society of Long Island (life member), and Oberlin African-American Genealogy & History Group. I have been on the staff of LDS Family History Centers since 2000.
