Biographical Info:
Deborah A. Carder Mayes is a professional genealogist, speaker, writer, and researcher. She frequently speaks at many genealogical societies, libraries and other organizations. She is also a speaker at various workshops and seminars several times a year.

She wrote a monthly column, Beyond the Obituaries, for The In-Depth Genealogist magazine (www.theindepthgenealogist.com), Going In Depth (no longer in publication) and writes a blog, Rambling Along the Ancestral Trail, (http://cardermayes.weebly.com/blog.html).
She previously wrote a monthly article for Family History Daily online newsletter (http://familyhistorydaily.com) and was the editor of Allen County Ancestry, the newsletter of the Allen County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society for 10 years.
