    Donna Moughty, a Professional Genealogist and former Regional Manager for a national technology company, has been conducting family research for over 15 years. She teaches classes for beginners and lectures on a variety of subjects including Methodology, Internet, Irish research and computer topics. In addition, she provides consultations, research assistance and training. Donna attended the National Institute for Genealogical Research at the National Archives, the Third and Fourth Irish Genealogical Congress in Ireland, Salt Lake Institute: Irish Research and the Institute of Genealogical and Historical Research at Samford University where she was an instructor in 2011. She is a member of Association of Professional Genealogists, Past Treasurer of the Genealogical Speakers Guild and a Delegate to the Federation of Genealogical Societies. She is also past president of the Middlesex (CT) Genealogical Society. Donna writes a weekly blog that can be found at and takes groups of researchers to Ireland each October.
