Annette Burke Lyttle is a full-time genealogy professional and owner of Heritage Detective, LLC. More than anything, she loves to speak to others about the delights (and frustrations, too) of genealogical research. She has a master's degree in English and a bachelor's in journalism. Careers in the Army and teaching college English have given her loads of experience in putting together and presenting quality lectures laced with humor and interesting facts. Annette has attended the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy and the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the APG chapter delegate to the Colorado Council of Genealogical Societies. She is also a member of several national, state, and local societies.
