    Bio:

    Margaret R. Fortier is a professional genealogist specializing in researching immigrant ancestors in New England. She holds a Certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and completed the ProGen Study Group program. She has completed courses at SLIG and GRIP.

    Margaret earned an MS in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University. Her article, “Visualizing Information for Client Reports,” was published in the June 2014 issue of the APG Quarterly. She serves on the board of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists and belongs to APG, NGS, and NEHGS.
