  • Bio:

For the past several years I have become extremely interested in Family History. After I retired, I decided to find out who I was in terms of my heritage. I did not even know my grandfathers name. Since then, I have tracked my ancestors back in Tennessee to the late 1700s and in Georgia to the 1800s. I enjoy Family History with a passion and now pass on that passion through speaking engagements, teaching classes, holding workshops and helping others in their research. I also am very active in society activities. I am currently a member of the West Valley Genealogical Society in AZ. I am also a current member and past president and treasurer of the Farmington(MI)Genealogical Society. I continue to represent the Farmington Genealogical Society as a delegate to the Michigan Genealogical Council and participate on the projects committee for the MGC as an administrator for the MGC group working on FamilySearch indexing projects. I have also written and published a book, Donakowski Family History Book - The Frank and Agnes Donakowski Family. I continue to seek and excel at gaining experiences in the genealogical field.
